Markovi Kuli is part of the Tentative list of North Macedonia in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Markovi Kuli (Marko’s Towers) comprises a landscape of peaks and rocks. The rock massif consists of gneiss and granodiorite. The area has been continuously inhabited since ancient times; it holds a large tower from the beginning of the 3rd century A.D..
