WHS that include Travertine pools, "a form of terrestrial limestone deposited around mineral springs, especially hot springs. It often has a fibrous or concentric appearance and exists in white, tan, cream-colored, and rusty varieties" (wiki)

Huanglong "combined with the more spectacular localised karst formations, such as travertine pools, waterfalls and limestone shoals. Its travertine terraces and lakes are certainly unique in all of Asia, and rate among the three most outstanding examples in the world." (OUV)
Jiuzhaigou Valley The Fairy Pool (Shenxian Chi) features travertine pools very similar to those of the nearby Huanglong
Nahanni National Park At Rabbitkettle Hot Springs: "The water emerges in a central pool at the top of the mound and flows downward through a terrace of surrounding pools. The travertine walls of these pools can be as tall as 30 cm (12 in), and range in colour from grey to off-white." (wiki)
