Europa Nostra 7 Most Endangered

The 7 Most Endangered identifies the most threatened monuments, sites and landscapes in Europe and mobilises public and private partners at all levels to find a viable future for these heritage gems.

"The 7 Most Endangered" programme was launched in 2013 by Europa Nostra with the European Investment Bank Institute as founding partner and the Council of Europe Development Bank as associated partner. It is supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, as part of Europa Nostra's networking project "Sharing Heritage - Sharing Values" (2017-2020).

Every two years, a new list of 7 Most Endangered heritage sites in Europe is published.

Send it to me!

A connection should:

  1. Not be "self evident"
  2. Link at least 3 different sites
  3. Not duplicate or merely subdivide the "Category" assignment already identified on this site.
  4. Add some knowledge or insight (whether significant or trivial!) about WHS for the users of this site
  5. Be explained, with reference to a source
