Odunpazari Historical Urban Site

Odunpazari Historical Urban Site is part of the Tentative list of Turkey in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Odunpazari is known for its vernacular architecture. Traditional crafts such as clock making and carving of meerschaum are still practiced. Its “Kursunlu Mosque Complex” has been home to the Sufi religious order of Mevlevism for four centuries.
