Caricin Grad - Iustiniana Prima, archaeological site is part of the Tentative list of Serbia in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Caričin Grad – Iustiniana Prima are the remains of a fortified settlement from the Byzantine period. It consists of the "Acropolis", the Upper Town and the Lower Town. The Acropolis contained the ecclesiastical seat, symbolizing the role of Christianisation of the surrounding pagan lands.
