Parc national de la Vanoise is part of the Tentative list of France in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Parc national de la Vanoise is a national park in the high mountains of the French Alps, named after the mountain range of the same name. The national park was founded in 1963 as the first national park in France, mainly to protect the Alpine ibex, also known as Steinbock or Bouquetin des Alpes.
