Silk Roads: Early Period (Prehistory) is part of the Tentative list of Kazakhstan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Silk Roads: Early Period (Prehistory) comprises 3 necropolises from the 5th-3rd centuries BC. They are representative of interchanges that existed between ancient China and Central Asia in the pre-Silk Roads period. The royal burial mounds or 'kurgans' were built by the Saka nomadic civilization.
