Koramaz Valley

Koramaz Valley is part of the Tentative list of Turkiye in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Koramaz Valley lies in a volcanic landscape. It holds 42 Byzantine rock churches and abandoned settlements. Its origins lie in the Roman Imperial period but it carries traces from different periods.
