The Inagua National Park

The Inagua National Park is part of the Tentative list of Bahamas in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Inagua National Park is a wetland area centered around the brackish Lake Rosa. It is an important site for migratory birds and the breeding location for 40,000 Caribbean flamingoes. The park is also home to various turtle species including the endemic and endangered Inagua Island Turtle.
