Northern Tyan-Shan (Ile-Alatau State National Park) is part of the Tentative list of Kazakhstan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Northern Tyan-Shan (Ile-Alatau State National Park) is high mountainous regions in the Northern Tyan Shan range, protecting woodlands, alpine meadows, many large glaciers (up to 6 km long) and lakes, with many deep valleys with many vertical features. It is centered around Pik Talgar at 4979 meter.
