Nicortsminda Cathedral is part of the Tentative list of Georgia in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Nicortsminda Cathedral is a small Georgian orthodox cathedral dating from the 11th century. It is a considered a masterpiece of Medieval Georgian Architecturehas and has one of the most beautiful decorations of all Georgian churches and cathedrals. Several different styles can be seen, demonstrating the richness of the selection of motifs and their manner of execution.
