Banganarti
Banganarti is part of the Tentative list of Sudan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Banganarti comprises the remains of a Byzantine church complex. It was an important pilgrimage center for Christians and Muslims in the Middle Ages. A number of wall paintings have been discovered by the Polish archaeologists who have worked at the site since 1998.
