Ustyurt: Natural Landscape and Aran Hunting Traps is part of the Tentative list of Kazakhstan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Ustyurt: Natural Landscape and Aran Hunting Traps is a mixed proposal for the Ustyurt Plateau. It has traps (stone walls and man-made holes) that have been used for hunting antelope and gazelle since the Bronze Age. The area, formed by marine deposits, is also known for its geological history. A spectrum of marine paleontological fossils has been discovered here.
