La Parc national de Campo Ma'an
La Parc national de Campo Ma'an is part of the Tentative list of Cameroon in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Campo Ma’an NP is situated near the Atlantic Ocean and is dominated by two types of landscape: mountains and plateaus in the north and hills and small valleys in the south. The NP belongs to the domain of the dense evergreen Guinean-Congolese humid forest, with about 15 types of plant formation. There is a great floral and faunal diversity: 1500 plant species, 80 large and medium mammal species, 390 invertebrate species, 249 fish species, 112 reptile species, 80 amphibian species, 302 bird species. Apart from this diversity, its claims of OUV are its natural beauty and its representation of geological, ecological and biological processes.
