Ba Be - Na Hang Natural Heritage Area is part of the Tentative list of Viet Nam in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List. It is a proposed extension of WHS.

Ba Be – Na Hang Natural Heritage Area consists of four protected areas that demonstrate high biodiversity of flora and fauna in a montane primeval forest in northern Vietnam. The area has been described as “Ha Long Bay on land”, and is known for its spectacular scenery, including the large freshwater lake of Ba Be, the convergence of two rivers, and photogenic limestone pillars. The diverse flora and fauna found in this area include the endangered Tonkin snub-nosed monkey and the François' leaf langur.
