Architecture vernaculaire et paysage culturel mandingue du Gberedou/Hamana is part of the Tentative list of Guinea in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Gberedou/Hamana is a historical and cultural centre of Guinea which is home to important sites of the Mandingo civilisation. The nominated property includes many sacred pools of spiritual significance, as well as traditional villages. The vernacular architecture of Gberedou/Hamana consists of small round earthen huts grouped in family concessions, with straw roofs, painted and decorated with simple linear motifs.
