Zeynel Abidin Mosque Complex and Mor Yakup (Saint Jacob) Church is part of the Tentative list of Turkiye in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Zeynel Abidin Mosque Complex and Mor Yakup Church show the co-existence of diffferent religions in the town of Nusaybin. The church dates from the 4th century and probably was the baptistery of a since disappeared cathedral. The mosque dates from the 12th century and was named after a descendant of the Prophet Mohammed.
