Station écologique de Taim
Station écologique de Taim (Rio Grande do Sul) is part of the Tentative list of Brazil in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Taim is a coastal-marine ecological station (an area to protect a representative sample of a Brazilian ecosystem). The station is located in a narrow land strip between the Atlantic Ocean and the Lagoon Mirim. It is a wetlands area containing diverse ecosystems, such as lagunal and marine beaches, lagoons, swamps, grasslands and dune ranges and fields.
