Shush

Shush is part of the Tentative list of Iran in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Shush comprises the archeological site of Susa. It was an ancient city of the Elamite and Achaemenid empires. It is one of the oldest-known settlements of the region, dating from as early as 4395 BCE.
