Medieval Earthern Walled City of Lo Manthang is part of the Tentative list of Nepal in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Lo Manthang is the capital of the former Kingdom of Lo. It is located at an ancient trade route through the Himalayas. The settlement dates from the 15th century and is surrounded by an earthen wall. There’s a palace and Tibetan Buddhist monasteries.

Medieval earthern walled city of Lo manthang is great amazing to the viewers.As being a habitant of the same place,when i was small i do not used to think about it a lot.As i know and I have seen,the wall is coloured red.It is about approx.40 feet high and 2-3 feet broad.There are two main gates.
