Las Labradas is an archaeological site of petroglyphs made on rocks in an intertidal zone, which means that they are covered daily by tides. More than 600 engravings have been inventoried in this area. They were produced by a pre-Hispanic civilization between 1000 B.C. and 300 A.D. and their significance has not yet been elucidated. They represent humans, animals, geometric motifs and abstract forms.
