Haci Bektas Veli Complex

Haci Bektas Veli Complex is part of the Tentative list of Turkiye in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Haci Bektas Veli Complex is the center of Bektashism, a religious order of Alevism. The mausoleum of the founder, Haci Bektas Veli, can be found here. Symbols used in the decoration of the buildings represent the beliefs. The complex dates from the 14th century and continues to attract pilgrims.
