Little Fort of Kikombo

Little Fort of Kikombo is part of the Tentative list of Angola in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Little Fort of Kikombo is a 17th century fortification built during the period of Dutch occupation. It is linked to the reconquest of Luanda by the Portuguese. It played a role in the capture and embarkment of slaves for the Atlantic Slave Trade and the resistance to it.
