Fortress of Kambambe

Fortress of Kambambe is part of the Tentative list of Angola in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Fortress of Kambambe is a 16th century Portuguese fortress. It was a point of access to the Angolan territory via the Kwanza river. It also was a center for the Slave Trade to the Americas.
