Fortress of S.Pedro da Barra

Fortress of S.Pedro da Barra is part of the Tentative list of Angola in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Fortress of Sao Pedro da Barra is an early 18th century Portuguese fortress in Luanda. It was used to house slaves in transit to the Americas. The badly preserved fortress was built on the spot of a more ancient one.
