Shokhimardon

.

Shokhimardon is part of the Tentative list of Uzbekistan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Shokhimardon is a natural propriety of nut forest landscape, relicts of tertiary broad-leave forest of Central Asia, situated on the northern slope of the Alai Range. It is situated in an Uzbek exclave within Kyrgyzstan. The dossier mentions large glaciers, huge mountain rivers and high-mountain lakes, but unless it becomes trans-national, those last elements are all in Kyrgyzstan.
