Magadansky State Nature Reserve is part of the Tentative list of Russia in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Magadansky State Nature Reserve comprises four isolated clusters in the Russian Northern Far East. There are no settlements or road access. It is located in the Cherskii-Kolyma mountain tundra ecoregion, which is an ecoregion of extreme cold and extreme aridity. Vegetation includes the Siberian spruce. In its rivers and lakes migrating salmons can be found.
