Parc du Bafing Makana
La Réserve de biodiversité du Parc du Bafing Makana is part of the Tentative list of Mali in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Biosphere Reserve of Bafing Makana Park is characterized by a number of plateaus, alluvial plains and lowlands. It holds large mammals such as lions, leopards and hippos. A chimpanzee sanctuary is part of it.
