Zambezi Source

.

Zambezi Source is part of the Tentative list of Zambia in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Zambezi Source National Monument marks the source of the fourth longest river in Africa and the longest river in Zambia. The site is a botanical reserve with a dense riparian forest canopy covering a shrub-filled swamp. The Zambezi Source is the only known place where the endemic Dissotis glandulosa and Elaphoglossum zambesionaum plants have been found.
