The Meru Conservation Area
The Meru Conservation Area comprises a pristine wilderness area with vast numbers of wildlife. It lies within the Somali-Masai biome and is covered by four adjacent national parks / reserves. They are important for the protection of mammals such as Black rhino, Grevy’s zebra and elephant. The Tana River and Adamson's Falls are of scenic beauty.
