Parc national du Djurdjura
Djurdjura National Park in Algeria holds significant biodiversity values and geological significance. Despite its relatively small size, the park protects about 17% of the country's vascular plants. It is also a hotspot for endemic flora. The Djurdjura Mountains within the park are part of the Tell Atlas Mountains, featuring dramatic cliffs, rock formations, deep gorges, potholes, fissures, and unusual grottoes, shaped by ancient glacial action. It also has a significant karst system with caves.
