Nakai – Nam Theun National Park
Nakai – Nam Theun National Park (NNT NP) is a Laotian nature reserve in the Annamite Mountains, which are known for their high levels of endemism.
The area was a refugium for plant and animal species during the climatic glaciations of the Pleistocene era. Notable wildlife includes several Muntjac species, the White-cheeked Gibbon, the Red-shanked Douc and the Asian Small-clawed Otter.
