The transboundary Mapungubwe Cultural Landscape spans areas in South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe which used to be part of the 10th century Mapungubwe Kingdom. The Botswana section includes archaeological sites such as Mmamagwe, a hill top settlement from the Iron Age.
