Le Parc national de Waza
Waza National Park (NP) is a 170,000 ha park in North Cameroon. It is characterized by the Sudano-Sahelian, semi-arid and tropical climate with a short rainy season (3-4 months) and a dry season of 8-9 months. Two types of vegetation dominate the park: floodplain and wooded vegetation. Wildlife counts 379 bird species an 30 mammal species. Its vegetation and its faunal diversity are the main claims of OUV.
