Le Lac Rose
Le Lac Rose (Pink Lake) is known for the daily coloring of its waters (from mauve to scarlet pink). This happens due to the presence of Dunaliella salina algae. Furthermore it has high salt content; its salt has been exploited and exported since the 1970s.
