Real Felipe Fortress of Callao is part of the Tentative list of Peru in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Real Felipe Fortress of Callao is an 18th-century Spanish military fort protecting the port of Callao and the city of Lima. It is considered the largest and only fortress of its kind on the coasts of the South Pacific. It is still in use by the Peruvian army.
