Jesuit Mission of San Cosme y San Damián is part of the Tentative list of Paraguay in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List. It is a proposed extension of Jesuit Missions of Trinidad and Jesus WHS.

The Jesuit Mission of San Cosme y San Damián is one of the seven remaining Jesuit missions in Paraguay. It was founded in 1632 and its church is still in use. The mission was also used as an astronomical observatory during the 18th century by one of the Fathers.
