Sai Island

Sai Island is part of the Tentative list of Sudan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Saï Island is a large island in the Nile. It has been occupied by Egyptian dynasties and later the Ottomans built a fort there. Prehistorical human remains have also been found.
