Temples of Kanchipuram is part of the Tentative list of India in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Temples of Kanchipuram comprise 11 temples built by the Pallava dynasty. Their sculptors were innovative in their temple architecture, shifting away from the rock-cut monuments to building free-standing structural shrines. Kanchipuram is also one of the seven most significant pilgrim centres of Hinduism, mainly for both Saivites and Vaishnavites.
