Cedro Dam in the Quixadá Monoliths
The Cedro Dam was built in the late 19th century in the Quixadá Monoliths, a formation of inselbergs. Designed by a British engineer, it was a pioneering hydraulic work in South America. The result fitted well within the natural landscape of dozens of monoliths.
