Milne Bay Seascape (Pacific Jewels of Marine Biodiversity) is part of the Tentative list of Papua New Guinea in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Milne Bay Seascape comprises 5 coral atolls and islands. They belong to one of the most pristine coral reefs in the Coral Triangle. It has high diversity in fish and coral species. Green, hawksbill and loggerhead turtles nest here. Samarai Island contains a number of historic colonial buildings.
