The Natural Reserve Bosawas
The Natural Reserve "Bosawas" is part of the Tentative list of Nicaragua in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Natural Reserve "Bosawas" comprises a tropical forest with a great number of endemic species and numerous medicinal plant species. Bosawás is largely unexplored, and is extremely rich in biodiversity. Three ethnic indigenous groups inhabit the area: Rama, Sumo and Miskito.
