St. George Historic District

St. George Historic District is part of the Tentative list of Grenada in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

St. George Historic District comprises two urban patterns that can be seen in the capital of Grenada. There is a planned part, dating from the late 18th century, with Georgian architecture adjusted to Caribbean circumstances. And there is an unplanned part from the 19th century, with wooden buildings in a vernacular Caribbean style.
