Parque Nacional Machalilla
Parque Nacional Machalilla is part of the Tentative list of Ecuador in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Machalilla National Park comprises a dry tropical forest with a number of Manteno archeological sites. It lies along the Pacific Coast and is a RAMSAR wetland. The park includes a number of small islands and two larger islands, Salango and Isla de la Plata.
