Hukaung Valley Wildlife Sanctuary
Hukaung Valley Wildlife Sanctuary comprises an exceptionally large forest area that is the habitat for many threatened fauna species including tiger. A large area of seasonally flooded grassland may also be added to the nomination. A part of the site is threatened by gold mining.
