Central Kalahari Game Reserve
The Central Kalahari Game Reserve and the adjoining Khutse Game Reserve are part of the semi-arid Kalahari Basin.
This sea of sand with low shrubs has been the traditional hunting area for the San people for thousands of years. It is home to the black-maned lion, an endangered subspecies.
