Baldan Bereeven Monastery
The Baldan Bereeven Monastery was first established in 1654 and represents a unique fusion between Shamanism and Buddhism. The monastery is located in the valley of the Baruun Jargalant River, surrounded by several picturesque and sacred mountains of the Khentii mountain range. The surrounding sacred landscape is an example of traditional land use and culture of nomadic pastoralism.
