Namibia accepted the UNESCO World Heritage Convention on 6 April 2000. It has two inscribed properties: Twyfelfontein or /Ui-//aes, renowned for its ancient rock engravings, and the Namib Sand Sea, celebrated for its unique coastal desert ecosystem.

The tentative list spans both cultural and natural sites, including sacred landscapes, marine ecosystems, geological formations, and cultural traditions.
