I am an avid nature lover and history enthusiast, who spends most of their time either out in nature looking for niche plants and weird insects or reading history books. It is probably therefore predictable that UNESCO sites are of interest to me. They are not so much of an object of obsession in themselves (I am unlikely to visit a site only because it is on the list) but they form a solid and relevant basis from which to plan my adventures.
