Al-Faw Pre-Islamic City in Central Arabia (Qariah) is part of the Tentative list of Saudi Arabia in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Al-Faw is a village on the outskirts of the Empty Quarter. It was an important stop-over for trade caravans for centuries. It was part of the ancient civilization of Kindah, with its own culture and ancient temples.
